On May 1st, 2019, the Tom Garling Jazz Orchestra packed the house at their debut performance at Hey Nonny in Arlington Heights.
On November 6th, 2019, they packed the house AGAIN at the Jazz Record Art Collective in Chicago.
A steady buzz has been growing about his writing for over 25 years, starting with his Maynard Ferguson days in the early to mid 1990’s, and gaining worldwide acclaim since then. Professional big bands are playing his music for enthusiastic audiences around the world. His writing over the years has amassed a vast library of his own compositions and arrangements for big band. It was about time to showcase his writing with his own jazz orchestra!
